By registering as a vendor with the SABC you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:
1. Registration and Approval Process
1.1 No Guarantee of Approval: Registration and the receipt of a vendor number does not guarantee acceptance as an approved vendor. All applications are subject to evaluation and approval at the sole discretion of the SABC.
1.2 Verification Requirements: All information provided during registration must be accurate, complete, and current. The SABC reserves the right to verify any information submitted and may request additional documentation.
1.3 Processing Time: Registration processing times may vary. The SABC does not guarantee specific timeframes for application review or approval.
2. Vendor Responsibilities
2.1 Accuracy of Information: Vendors are responsible for ensuring all registration information, including company details, certifications, capabilities, and contact information, remains accurate and up to date.
2.2 Compliance Requirements: Vendors must maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and SABC policies throughout the registration period.
2.3 Documentation Maintenance: Vendors are required to maintain current business licenses, insurance certificates, tax clearances, and any other required documentation as specified.
3. Procurement Process
3.1 No Guarantee of Business: Registration does not guarantee participation in tenders, quotations, or award of contracts.
3.2 Competitive Process: All procurement activities will be conducted in accordance with SABC's procurement policies and applicable regulations.
3.3 Equal Treatment: The SABC is committed to fair, transparent, equitable, competitive and cost effective procurement processes and equal treatment of all registered vendors.
4. Terms and Conditions
4.1 Amendment Rights: The SABC reserves the right to modify registration requirements, terms, and conditions at any time with appropriate notice.
4.2 Suspension and Termination: The SABC may suspend or terminate vendor registration for non-compliance, provision of false information, or other valid business reasons.
4.3 Data Protection: Personal and business information provided during registration will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the SABC's privacy policy.
5. Limitations of Liability
5.1 No Warranty: The vendor registration system and related services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
5.2 Limited Liability: The SABC shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the registration process or related services.
6. General Provisions
6.1 The SABC Governing Law: This disclaimer and the vendor registration process are governed by South African law and applicable acts such as the PFMA.
6.2 Entire Agreement: This disclaimer, together with the vendor registration terms and conditions, constitutes the entire agreement regarding vendor registration.
7. Inactive vendors
7.1 Vendors that are inactive or do not participate on the Etender process for a period of Five (5) years will be deleted on the SABC Etender Portal. Deleted Vendors will be required to reregister on the SABC Etender Portal.
8. Commodities & Categories
8.1 Vendors are required to select commodities/category upon registration. Vendors are required to select a minimum of one (1) category and a maximum of five (5) categories.
8.2 Vendors are only allowed to update commodities/categories after a period of six (6) months.
